We believe the vast oceans can one day provide the energy to power our country, but before we get to a large scale roll out of ocean devices, there are numerous technological hurdles to be cleared which will take time, effort, patience, and most importantly perseverance.
We are currently focusing our efforts on a floating rover that can move itself and take environmental measurements and potentially be a mothership for smaller autonomous devices to dock to recharge and relay their data and measurements.

In early 2007 we filed our first patent for an ocean energy capture device.
We’ve tested 23 prototype or early proof of concept vessels in 19 bodies of water. Based on our encouraging findings, our efforts are now focused on the open ocean as a wave environment that provides the most energy on a consistent basis. We have conducted 46 real world data collection experiments, as of September 2022.
We are a small business with innovative technology. We have recently constructed 7 wave energy powered data collection boats for the DOE and NOAA funded Ocean Observation prize of which we are honored to be named winner of the BUILD competition after having demonstrated our device at the US Navy’s Carderock Division wave testing tank located in Bethesda, Maryland.
We are currently exploring interest from other Government and Commercial entities who would have a use for our autonomous wave energy powered boats and autonomous sailboats. In December, we’re developing version 8 of our wave energy powered autonomous boat (WEPAB), which will be 28 feet long and easily deployed on a boat trailer. Our target market offering is as a turn-key ocean observation boat operator, effectively a service for hire, on a daily, weekly and monthly basis at a price point well below manned vessels.
We believe this technology of autonomous sailboats with solar and wave energy power sources, lends to resupply and long duration data collection missions that do not require fuel, as our boats are offered as fuel-less, being green energy powered and in support of growing the blue economy.
